Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (Tgt) Untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas Belajar Pendidikan Jasmani Pada Siswa Kelas IV Di Sd Negeri 071/II Sungai Gambir

Abstract
This research was motivated by the low level of students’ learning activities in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (Penjas) learning in Grade IV at SD Negeri 071/II Sungai Gambir, which was indicated by a lack of activeness, participation, and enthusiasm during the learning process. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model, to identify students’ learning activities, and to determine the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model in improving students’ learning activities in Physical Education learning. This research used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with a descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach, which was carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model can improve students’ learning activities. This is evidenced by the increase in the percentage of students’ learning activities from 52% in the initial observation to 68% in cycle I and further increasing to 86% in cycle II. Thus, the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model is proven to be effective in improving Physical Education learning activities of Grade IV students at SD Negeri 071/II Sungai Gambir.
