Abstract
School libraries are a crucial asset in supporting the learning process. This study also aims to design a website for borrowing and returning library books at SMKs Setih Setio 2 Bungo, with the aim of improving accessibility and efficiency in web-based library information management.
The research used a quantitative descriptive approach. The design of this web-based library book borrowing and returning information system employed a waterfall model, encompassing needs analysis, design, implementation, and system testing. This approach ensures a user-friendly experience
The results of this study are a web-based library book borrowing and returning system that provides features such as online book searching, borrowing, and returning books. Software quality testing on the usability aspect yielded a score of 282, which was converted into an index score of 94%. The 94% score was then converted to a qualitative scale, resulting in a rating scale of "very suitable" for use.
