Plagiarism Policy

Jurnal AKTIF - Physical Activity, Health, and Sports upholds the originality of scholarly works published in this journal. Therefore, every submitted manuscript will undergo a similarity check using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin/iThenticate).

1. Plagiarism Tolerance Limit

• Articles with a similarity level of more than 20% (excluding citations and references) will be returned to the author for revision or rejected.
• Articles with similarity below this threshold will still be carefully reviewed by the editor to ensure there is no partial plagiarism or duplicate publication.

2. Unacceptable Forms of Misconduct

• Copying text, data, or images without proper citation.
• Duplicating previously published articles (self-plagiarism).
• Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal (multiple submission).

3. Actions in Case of Proven Plagiarism

• The manuscript will be rejected prior to publication.
• If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the article will be retracted and officially announced on the journal’s website.
• Authors found to commit severe misconduct may be subject to future submission bans.
