Abstract
This study aims to determine the guided inquiry learning model on learning outcomes and learning motivation. By using the guided inquiry learning model to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Informatics class XI. The learning method still uses lecture and discussion methods, which make students quickly bored in the learning process, lack of variety in learning methods and lack of providing learning motivation so that it has an impact on student learning outcomes which are still low.
This study used quantitative true experimental research. The sample in this study was 41 students. In this study, they were divided into two classes: the experimental class and the control class. With Class XID as the experimental class with 20 students and Class XIC as the control class with 21 students. Where the sample was taken using a random sampling technique. With data collection using a test instrument.
Based on the results of the research that has been done with the calculation of hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test. which is done with SPSS statistics 26, for the first hypothesis, the result is 0.003 with the basis of decision making, namely if the sig value <0.05 and if t_count>t_table then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. For the second hypothesis, the result is 0.003 with the basis of decision making, namely if the sig value <0.05 and if t_count>t_table then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Then for the last hypothesis, the result is 0.003 with the basis of decision making, namely if the sig value <0.05 and if t_count>t_table then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. In this study, the result is 0.000 <0.05, and the obtained value of t_count = 4.409 and t_table = 1.686 which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted
